Airservices held a national consultation on the draft Flight Path Design Principles between 14 January 2020 and 9 March 2020.
Thousands of people contributed to the national consultation, either through completing the online survey, participating in workshops or by providing submissions.
They have released their final Flight Path Design Principles, which we will implement for new flight path and airspace changes from July 2020.
You can view these Principles through the Flight Path Design Principles project page.
The public comment period is open for four weeks, from Wednesday 10 June 2020 to Wednesday 8 July 2020 (midnight AEST) and you can submit comments through Engage Airservices.
Additionally they have developed Application Notes to describe how the Principles will be applied.
