Do you know anyone who has made a significant contribution to building our community?

We live in a beautiful part of the world with a vibrant community that is passionate about this piece of paradise that we call home. Residents past and present have played a role in making Mudjimba what it is today.

We have recently been approached to consider supporting an application to acknowledge a former Mudjimba resident for her work in making Mudjimba what it is today.  Since that approach, another name has been given to us to consider supporting for an appropriate acknowledgement. This has caused the Committee to consider asking the community if there are any other worthy nominees that we could submit to Council for appropriate acknowledgement in our area?

Power Memorial Park for example recognises Harry and Beryl Power for their vision and energy in creating a beautiful recreation area for generations to come. Their story can be found on our History page. This is just one way in which significant and sustained contributions for the betterment of our community can be recognised.

Therefore, we are asking for nominations of worthy residents to be put forward by 12/08/2024. We are looking for any commentary and evidence you may have of Mudjimba residents past or present who the Mudjimba Residents Association could support in our submission to Council on this issue.

We seek an assurance from any living nominee that they accept the nomination. In the case of a past resident, we seek assurance through a family member that the nomination would be accepted.
